Pathfinder
A pathfinder is much like the newer LibGuides, it is intended to provide students and patrons with a "path" of resources to help them with their research. Resources should include a variety of formats, so as to encourage the researcher to stretch their ideas.
Title:
Sea Turtles
Scope Note:
This is an introduction to various resources for those persons interested
in learning more about sea turtles.
Sea turtles are amphibians who live in the oceans of the world, many of
their sub-species are listed on the endangered or threatened species lists.
Introduction:
Sea turtles are marine amphibians that live in most of the oceans around
the world. “There are seven species of sea turtles--the Kemp's ridley, olive ridley, loggerhead, hawksbill, flatback, green, and leatherback” (Kranking, Kathy).
Many of the sea turtles species are listed as endangered, but there is
hope. There are many conservation efforts at work that are working to help preserve these majestic creatures.
